Shipping Information

Careful packing of your ignition parts is extremely important in order to properly protect them and ensure their safe arrival.

For distributor bodies a 12" square box is the minimum. The best packing material is bubble wrap which is available at any UPS shipping outlet. Shipping peanuts are less than ideal because they allow the item to shift in the box, and they are also a real nuisance to have in the shop.

I prefer to return your parts in the box they come in , but if your packaging has been damaged or is insufficient, your parts will be returned in a new box with suitable packing material for a nominal fee.

Marelli ignition components are quite rare and can be very expensive to replace. Distributor bodies should be insured for a minimum of $2500 each and other items as you feel appropriate.

Lost parts are extremely rare both with UPS or the US mail, but it does happen, and you the owner will be responsible for filing the claim and locating replacement parts in the event of a lost or damged part.

Marelli Service however will work with you as necessary to help resolve any shipping claims and provide necessary assistance, whenever possible, in locating replacement parts.

Shipping costs are billed at the actual cost of shipment with tracking and insurance.
